Aspire People are looking for confident and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils through targeted interventions across primary schools in Manchester and surrounding areas.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with smaller groups and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning through focused, structured support.
The Role:
* Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions
* Supporting pupils with Maths, English, phonics and reading
* Helping pupils develop confidence and independence in their learning
* Reinforcing learning covered within the classroom
* Supporting pupils who may be working below age-related expectations
* Tracking progress and providing feedback to teaching staff
* Adapting activities and resources to meet individual learning needs
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience working within a primary school
* Experience supporting interventions is desirable
* Confident supporting Maths, English, reading or phonics
* Patient and encouraging approach
* Good understanding of how to support pupils who need additional help with their learning
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
