Teaching Assistant Opportunity

• Daily Rate: £95-£105 per day
• Location: Wandsworth, London
• Contract: November 2026 to July 2027
• Working Pattern: Full-time, Term Time Only

Academics is delighted to be working in partnership with a fantastic, well-established Primary school in Wandsworth to recruit enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistants.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced class teachers to support teaching and learning across the primary age range. You will play an important role in helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and academic abilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting class teachers with the delivery of engaging and interactive primary lessons.
• Providing classroom support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Working with small groups of pupils to reinforce learning in English and Mathematics.
• Providing one-to-one support for pupils who require additional assistance.
• Supporting children with SEN and additional learning needs.
• Supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has a genuine passion for working with children.
• Has previous experience working with primary-aged pupils, either in a school or another childcare setting.
• Is confident supporting pupils individually and in small groups.
• Is enthusiastic about helping children reach their full potential.
