We are recruiting a Motor Vehicle Instructor in Milton Keynes to work within an Alternative Provision, delivering practical motor vehicle sessions to young people who benefit from a more hands-on approach to learning.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced mechanic or automotive professional who would like to pass on their knowledge and help young people develop valuable practical skills.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging, practical motor vehicle and mechanics sessions.
• Introduce pupils to vehicle maintenance, basic mechanics and workshop skills.
• Encourage safe working practices and appropriate use of tools and equipment.
• Support young people who may present with challenging behaviour or disengagement from education.
• Build positive relationships and promote confidence, independence and employability skills.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in motor mechanics, vehicle maintenance or the automotive industry.
• Confident sharing practical knowledge and demonstrating mechanical skills.
• Patient, approachable and able to engage young people.
• Comfortable supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
• Teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Pay: £120-£180 per day, depending on experience.
