Senior Software Test Engineer (SDET) - London - Contract
About this job
Join a growing software team developing technology that supports cutting-edge scientific innovation. We're looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer (not a QA Tester) 6 month contract (outside IR35) with strong experience in test automation, software engineering and CI/CD environments.
As Senior Software Test Engineer Experience Reuired:
- Experience as a Software Test Engineer, SDET or Automation Test Engineer
- Strong Python, C# or Java skills
- Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks
- Integration, system and regression testing experience
- Experience working closely with software developers in Agile teams
- CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or similar tools
Ideal backgrounds: Scientific instrumentation, biotech, medtech, robotics, aerospace, defence, telecoms or software product companies.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on automating quality, not a traditional manual QA position.
