Role Details

* Setting: Primary schools, Years 3 to 6

Teaching in Key Stage 2

* A KS2 Teacher will plan English, mathematics and foundation-subject lessons aligned to the primary curriculum

* The KS2 Teacher will use ongoing assessment to identify learning gaps and provide challenge

* As a KS2 Teacher, you will adapt lessons for SEND and differing attainment profiles

* An effective KS2 Teacher can coordinate with phase colleagues and support staff to improve outcomes

* Where Year 6 positions arise, support appropriate SATs preparation and a broad curriculum.

What We're Looking For in a KS2 Teacher

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is ESSENTIAL for this KS2 Teacher role.

* Recent or relevant primary teaching experience in KS2.

* Strong assessment, differentiated planning and behaviour management.

* Teamwork, clear communication and professional safeguarding practice.
