KS1 Classroom Practice

* A KS1 Teacher will plan systematic phonics, early reading and practical maths lessons

* The KS1 Teacher will monitor understanding and adapt instruction when misconceptions emerge

* As a KS1 Teacher, you will differentiate for SEND pupils and children with diverse language needs

* An effective KS1 Teacher can organise productive classroom routines and positive behaviour

* Work with phase teams, Teaching Assistants and families while meeting safeguarding expectations.

What We're Looking For in a KS1 Teacher

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is ESSENTIAL for this KS1 Teacher role.

* Experience teaching or training in Key Stage 1.

* Confident phonics delivery, early assessment and curriculum planning.

* Reliability, collaborative communication and safeguarding awareness.
