SC Cleared Automation Tester

The ideal candidate will be a Senior Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on
experience across UI, API and data testing. The role requires proven expertise in
designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks using Selenium,
Playwright, Cucumber/BDD, Java and Python, along with strong API testing and
automation experience using Postman and Karate. Strong SQL and Azure Databricks
skills are required for data validation and backend testing. The candidate should
also have experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, managing
testing through Jira/Xray, and developing reusable and maintainable regression
automation suites. Experience with Spark4GL testing would be highly desirable.

Major Skill Set Required:
* Strong hands-on UI and API automation testing experience.
* Proven experience in designing, implementing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
* Strong experience with Selenium and Playwright for UI automation.
* Strong API testing and automation experience using Postman, Rest Assured and Karate.
* Hands-on experience with Cucumber and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD), including developing and maintaining BDD-based automated test scenarios.
* Strong programming/scripting skills in Java and Python.
* Strong SQL skills, including complex queries for data validation, reconciliation and backend testing.
* Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and data validation/testing.
* Experience integrating and executing automated test suites through CI/CD pipelines.
* Strong experience with Jira and Xray for test management, execution, traceability and defect management.
* Experience with Spark4GL functional and automation testing is preferred, including validation against expected or legacy system behaviour.
* Strong troubleshooting skills across UI, API and data layers.
