Are you a Physics graduate looking to gain valuable teaching experience in a high-achieving secondary school? An exciting opportunity is available for a Physics Graduate to join a successful school in North London, teaching Physics to students up to A Level.

This role would suit a strong Physics graduate who is considering a career in teaching and would like to develop their classroom experience before progressing into teacher training or a PGCE.

The Role

As a Physics Graduate Teacher, you will teach Physics across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, working with students through to A Level. You will be supported by an experienced Science department while developing your own teaching practice.

The role will involve:

* Teaching Physics up to A Level
* Planning and delivering engaging Physics lessons
* Supporting students to develop strong subject knowledge
* Preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations
* Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of individual students
* Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
* Supporting practical Physics work and experiments
* Working closely with colleagues within the Science department
* Creating a positive and engaging learning environment

The Ideal Physics Graduate

The school is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Physics graduate with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for the subject.

You will ideally have:

* A degree in Physics or a closely related subject
* Strong subject knowledge up to A Level
* Excellent communication skills
* The confidence to teach and engage secondary school students
* A genuine interest in developing a career in teaching
* Previous tutoring, teaching or mentoring experience would be advantageous
* A professional, enthusiastic and committed approach
