Contract - Outside IR35 - Remote

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to support one of our Customer's through a period of technology review, improvement and transformation.

This is a hands-on role that will initially focus on understanding the current technology landscape, identifying key risks and opportunities, and then leading the delivery of agreed improvements.

• Strong experience in IT or technology management, ideally within a small or medium-sized organisation.
• Experience reviewing technology environments and identifying risks, gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Good understanding of cyber security, Microsoft 365 and technology governance.
• Experience managing and working with external technology suppliers.
• Strong project, transformation or technology improvement experience.
• Ability to work confidently with senior stakeholders and translate technical issues into clear, practical actions.
• Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and action plans.
• Able to operate both strategically and hands-on, taking ownership and driving actions through to completion.

• Review the current technology set-up, suppliers, Microsoft 365 environment and cyber security position.
• Identify key risks, issues, gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and prioritise recommendations and an action plan.
• Lead and coordinate technology improvement actions with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Provide trusted technology advice to the senior team.
• Maintain oversight of technology risks, actions and progress.
• Identify longer-term technology leadership, governance and capability requirements.
