An opportunity has arisen to join our HR team at Central Hall Westminster as a HR Coordinator.

Location: London, Westminster; This is an office-based role with an opportunity to work flexibly

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Contract: 12-months Fixed Term Contract (maternity cover)

Reporting To: Acting Head of HR

We are looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to support the Acting Head of HR with employee lifecycle, especially with recruitment and onboarding, payroll preparation, HR and training administration and reporting. Your responsibilities will include supporting with employee relations and case work and there will be an element to be involved in project work. You will manage the day-to-day administration of our HRIS, maintaining accurate employee data and supporting agreed system improvements and automations.

About You

You will have previous experience in an HR Administrator, HR Coordinator or similar operational HR role, with practical experience supporting recruitment, onboarding and the wider employee lifecycle, together with a sound understanding of employment law.

You will be experienced in managing competing priorities and taking ownership of tasks through to completion. The role requires someone who consistently delivers high-quality, accurate work, communicates effectively with a range of stakeholders, and builds positive working relationships with employees, managers and external providers. You will have experience preparing payroll information, maintaining HR systems and employee records, and responding to routine HR enquiries. You will understand the importance of data protection, handling sensitive information appropriately, and recognising when matters require escalation.

Given our organisation’s affiliation with the Methodist Church, an understanding and alignment with Methodist values are essential.

Experience of HiBob, HR workflow automation, employee benefits, pensions or learning and development coordination would be beneficial. CIPD Level 3 or progress towards a relevant CIPD qualification would also be welcomed.
