Design and Build Coordinator

A construction company is currently recruiting a Design & Technical Coordinator to support the delivery of a high-quality residential project in London.
The Design & Technical Coordinator will support drawing management, consultant coordination, document control, and technical administration from RIBA Stage 5 through construction, working closely with the Project Lead.
The ideal candidate should have experience within the UK architectural, engineering, or construction environment, strong AutoCAD and Revit skills, and practical experience in architectural project delivery.

Main Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of a residential project from RIBA Stage 5 through construction
- Manage design drawings, technical documents, and document control processes
- Coordinate with consultants and project stakeholders to support project delivery
- Provide technical administration support to the Project Lead
- Review and manage design information to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Support coordination of technical issues and project requirements
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external consultants
Ideal Candidate
- Experience working within a UK design, architectural, engineering, or construction environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or equivalent qualification with practical design, detailing, and/or construction experience
- Strong practical experience using Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience in the design and delivery of architectural projects
- Residential sector experience is advantageous
- Extensive knowledge of construction techniques and ability to work across multiple projects
- Strong collaboration skills with a flexible and open approach
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively
- High-end residential experience is advantageous
- Building Control coordination experience is advantageous
- CIAT accreditation, ARB registration, or equivalent professional qualification is advantageous
Conditions
- Location: London, UK
- Working Style: office based
- Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per annum depending on experience
- Job Type: fixed-term contract (approximately 1 year from October 2026, with potential for extension)
- Working Hours: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday
- Start: October 2026
