Working as part of a collaborative HR team, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality people service, managing complex employee relations matters, supporting organisational change initiatives and contributing to continuous improvement projects.
Client Details
We are partnering with a well-established not-for-profit organisation that delivers vital community-based services and support to vulnerable individuals. Due to an internal requirement, they are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join their People Team on a fixed-term basis.
Description
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers across a range of employee relations matters
- Manage complex disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance, absence and probation cases
- Support long-term sickness absence management, Occupational Health referrals and workplace adjustments
- Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures
- Support recruitment activity and provide advice on employment matters
- Deliver training, coaching and guidance to managers
- Contribute to organisational change, consultation exercises and HR projects
- Analyse workforce data and produce HR reports to support decision-making
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an effective and professional HR service
Profile
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience
- Not-for-profit experience
- Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases independently
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Experience coaching and advising managers
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
Job Offer
- Hourly rate of £23 - £25 Per hour depending on experience
- Flexible hybrid working model,
- Short term fixed-term contract with the potential for meaningful contributions to a not-for-profit organisation.
