Deliver Personalised Support Where It Matters Most
We're looking for a QTS-qualified Primary Tutor to work with children across the BCP area, providing tailored 1:1 tuition on behalf of Local Authorities.
Many of the learners we support require alternative educational provision due to SEND, anxiety, school avoidance, medical needs, or other barriers to learning. As a Primary Tutor, you'll help pupils build confidence, develop core skills, and re-engage with education through a personalised approach that meets their individual needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers looking for a flexible role where they can focus on making a meaningful impact with each learner.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting
- Experience teaching or supporting primary-aged pupils
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally across the BCP area

- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- ADHD
- Anxiety and school avoidance
- Speech, language, and communication needs
- EHCPs and additional educational needs
