Flexible Tutoring Opportunities Available Across the BCP Area
We're looking for QTS-qualified Teachers and experienced Tutors to support children and young people across the BCP area through personalised 1:1 tuition.
Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you'll provide tailored educational support to learners who require alternative provision. Students may be of varying ages and abilities, with many benefiting from additional support to build confidence, re-engage with learning, and achieve positive outcomes.
Whether your background is in primary, secondary, core subjects, or specialist subjects, we'd love to hear from you.

- Start Date: September
- Hours: Flexible
- Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour
- Type: 1:1 Tuition
Requirements
- QTS preferred, although experienced tutors are encouraged to apply
- Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, learning support, mentoring, or similar roles
- Strong subject knowledge in your area of expertise
- Ability to deliver engaging and personalised sessions
- Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Patient, adaptable, and reliable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally across the BCP area
Who You'll Support
You'll work with children and young people who may have:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- ADHD
- Anxiety and school avoidance
- EHCPs and additional educational needs
Each learner receives a personalised programme designed around their individual needs, strengths, and educational goals.
