A high-achieving Secondary School in Havering is looking to appoint an English Graduate Tutor with an ASAP start.

You will work closely with pupils across KS3 and KS4, helping them improve their confidence, written ability and overall attainment across English Language and Literature.

This role would be perfect for an aspiring English Teacher or graduate looking to build substantial classroom experience.

• English Graduate Tutor
• Supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils
• 1:1 and small-group tuition
• GCSE English intervention
• Supporting English Language and Literature
• Essay writing and exam preparation
• Working alongside experienced English Teachers
• £110 - £120 per day

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• English Degree strongly preferred
• Ideally a 1st Class or 2:1 Degree
• Strong GCSE and A Level results
• Excellent literacy skills
• Confident communicating with young people
• Strong subject knowledge
• Aspiring English Teacher ideal
• Reliable, ambitious and personable
