Project Manager / Transition Lead

Project Manager & Transition Lead - Outsourcing Programme,

£560 per day through Umbrella, London or Bristol 1-2 days a week.

Fuse are looking for an experienced Project Manager & Transition Lead to lead a major outsourcing programme within a regulated financial services environment.

This is a senior delivery role with responsibility for taking an outsourcing transition from planning through migration, cutover and stabilisation. You'll work across Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology and third-party suppliers to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption to customers and services.

The Role

You'll take ownership of the end-to-end project and transition, including:

• Leading the outsourcing transition strategy, covering knowledge transfer, process migration and service readiness.
• Managing the full project lifecycle, including plans, milestones, budgets, RAID management and governance reporting.
• Developing and executing cutover, parallel-run and stabilisation plans.
• Coordinating operational readiness, training and capability building across retained and offshore teams.
• Managing senior stakeholders across Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology and external suppliers.
• Ensuring effective third-party risk management throughout the transition.
• Tracking SLAs, KPIs and service performance to maintain continuity throughout migration.
• Embedding operational resilience, Consumer Duty and regulatory requirements into the programme.
• Providing clear reporting and updates to senior leadership and programme governance forums.

Experience required

You'll be an experienced Project Manager or Transition Lead with a strong track record of delivering complex outsourcing, offshoring or third-party service transitions.

• Significant experience delivering outsourcing, offshoring or large-scale operational transition programmes.
• Strong project management expertise alongside hands-on transition and cutover leadership.
• Experience within financial services or another highly regulated environment.
• Good understanding of operational resilience, third-party risk and regulatory governance.
• Experience managing third-party providers and offshore delivery teams.
• Confidence operating with senior stakeholders and steering complex cross-functional programmes.
• A strong focus on customer outcomes, service continuity and operational readiness.
