SOX Project Manager - Control Framework Enhancement – 6 month contract

Our financial services client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a high-profile SOX Control Framework Enhancement Programme. This is an excellent opportunity to lead complex control enhancement and regulatory change initiatives within a large-scale, fast-paced environment.

Working across Finance, Risk, Audit and Technology functions, you will be responsible for driving project delivery, coordinating stakeholders, managing governance and ensuring successful implementation of enhanced SOX control frameworks.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead project delivery across the full lifecycle, from planning through to implementation and handover.
• Coordinate stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Audit, Change and Technology functions.
• Manage project plans, governance, reporting, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Support regulatory, controls and remediation initiatives within a complex environment.

Key requirements:

• Extensive experience of SOX, financial controls, governance, risk management and audit remediation.
• Proven Project Management experience with a recognised qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP or Agile.
• Strong experience delivering large-scale change, regulatory remediation or control enhancement programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Type: Contract Inside IR35 | Duration: 6 months

Location: Edinburgh | Hybrid working: 2 days per week in the office
