Temporary Credit Controller – Edinburgh

Location: Edinburgh
Contract: 2-3 Months Temporary Contract - Scope for Extension - Immediate Start!
Salary: £14.67 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days home

Iconic Resourcing are currently working with a client in Edinburgh who are looking to recruit a Credit Controller on a temporary basis to support their busy finance team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous credit control or cash collection experience who is confident working with finance systems and can quickly get up to speed in a new environment.

• Managing and following up on outstanding customer payments.

• Reviewing aged debt reports and contacting customers regarding overdue invoices.

• Issuing payment reminders, predominantly via email.

• Investigating invoice queries and liaising with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

• Maintaining accurate customer account records and payment updates.

• Supporting the wider finance team with credit control activities.

• Previous experience in credit control, cash collection or a similar finance role (ideally 1+ years).

• Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Office.

• Strong written communication skills and a professional approach to customer correspondence.

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

• Available to start at short notice.

• £14.67 per hour.

• 35-hour working week with flexible start times.

• Hybrid working – 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
