As a Compliance Officer in Chatham, you will help the Legal department keep compliance and oversight work organised and accurate within the insurance industry. You will manage day-to-day technical administration and records so the team can work efficiently and meet its commitments.

Description

• Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance and oversight activities.
• Coordinate technical administration for the Legal department, keeping information clear and accessible.
• Track actions, deadlines and updates to help ensure work is completed on time.
• Prepare and format documents, reports and meeting materials for internal use.
• Manage shared files and registers, ensuring records are kept up to date.
• Respond to routine queries and direct matters to the appropriate colleagues when needed.
• Support the preparation of information required for compliance and oversight reviews.
• Help improve the consistency and accuracy of departmental documentation.

Profile

A successful Compliance Officer will have experience in the above and be on short notice.

Job Offer

• Fixed-term contract.
• Salary of £33,000 to £35,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Hybrid working, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
• Based in Chatham.
