Curriculum Delivery in Key Stage 2

• A KS2 Teacher will plan purposeful English, mathematics and wider-curriculum sequences that build on prior knowledge.
• The KS2 Teacher will use questioning, marking and assessment to identify gaps and provide suitable challenge.
• As a KS2 Teacher, you will adapt lessons for different attainment levels, including pupils with SEND or additional language needs.
• A successful KS2 Teacher will establish consistent behaviour expectations and coordinate support with Teaching Assistants.
• Where Year 6 opportunities arise, support appropriate SATs preparation while maintaining a broad curriculum.

What We're Looking For in a KS2 Teacher

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for a KS2 Teacher.
• Relevant KS2 teaching or training experience and a secure understanding of curriculum progression.
• Strong differentiation, assessment, classroom management and planning skills.
