Procurement Officer

Procurement Officer / Initially a 6-month contract position / London, Hybrid / Up to £350 per day (Umbrella rate)

Overview:
Our client, a health research organisation are currently looking for a Procurement Officer to join their Team and assist with managing and procurement projects and processes from start to contract award.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end sourcing process, from identifying needs through to supplier selection
• Prepare and run tenders, RFQs and procurement exercises in line with policies
• Draft, review and maintain supplier contracts and procurement documentation
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure contracts deliver value and compliance
• Support procurement governance, reporting and adherence to procurement regulations and procedures

• Procurement and sourcing experience, including running supplier selection processes
• Contract management experience, including drafting, reviewing and maintaining agreements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Knowledge of procurement policies, governance and compliance requirements
• Ability to analyse supplier proposals, costs and commercial terms
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple procurement activities at the same time

• Up to £350 per day (Umbrella rate)
