Finance Business Partner

We're looking for a Finance Business Partner for a public sector organisation based in Reading on an initial 12 months contract, paying from £77 per hour (Inside IR35).

This is a hybrid role with up to 3 days per week onsite.

The successful Finance Business Partner will act as the trusted finance partner to accountable leads and senior budget holders across the business. You'll provide constructive challenge, insight and analysis on financial plans and programmes, making sure they're affordable, aligned to strategy and deliver value for money. You'll also line and task manage business partner teams, steering deliverables to the required business rhythm.

You will need proven experience in the following:

Finance business partnering with senior stakeholders and budget holders

Forecasting, budgeting, reporting and variance analysis

Scrutinising and reviewing business cases for value for money and through-life impact

Influencing senior leaders to make informed, balanced decisions

Leading and developing finance teams

A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) would be beneficial.

You'll need to hold or be eligible to obtain SC clearance.
