Social Worker - Children Help & Protection

Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Team: Quadrant D Locality Team 1
Pay Rate: £38-£42 per hour umbrella
Authority: Buckinghamshire Council

Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Social Worker to join the Children Help & Protection service at Buckinghamshire Council, based within the Quadrant D Locality Team 1 in High Wycombe.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Children's Social Worker to join a frontline locality team, supporting children and families while promoting positive outcomes and ensuring children's safety and welfare.

Your daily responsibilities will include

• Managing a caseload of children and families requiring support and intervention.
• Undertaking assessments to identify children's needs, risks and levels of vulnerability.
• Developing and implementing child-centred plans to safeguard and promote children's welfare.
• Completing statutory visits, care planning and relevant assessments within required timescales.
• Working collaboratively with families, partner agencies and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
• Responding to safeguarding concerns and taking appropriate action to protect children at risk.
• Maintaining accurate case records and producing reports in line with statutory requirements.

Essential Requirements

• A recognised Social Work degree or equivalent qualification.
• Current registration with Social Work England (SWE).
• At least 3 years' post-qualification experience working in Social Work roles within a UK English Local Authority.
• Experience in children's social care, safeguarding and child protection.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
