Contract - SEO Manager - Outside IR35

Freelance SEO / GEO Strategist - £300pd Outside IR35 - Remote

My client is a growing digital marketing agency looking for an experienced SEO / GEO Strategist to support several new client projects on an initial 3-week contract, with potential for further work.

This is a fully remote opportunity for a UK-based freelancer who is confident working independently and has strong technical SEO experience, particularly across metadata optimisation and schema markup.

The Role

As the SEO / GEO Strategist, your responsibilities will include:

• Optimising metadata, including title tags, meta descriptions and on-page SEO elements.

• Reviewing, implementing and improving structured data and schema markup.

• Supporting SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) initiatives to improve organic visibility.

• Taking ownership of SEO deliverables across multiple client projects.

• Collaborating with wider teams on UK and US client accounts.

You

• Have proven experience in an SEO Manager, SEO Strategist or Technical SEO role, ideally within an agency environment.

• Have strong hands-on experience with metadata optimisation and schema markup.

• Understand GEO and emerging AI search optimisation practices.

• Are confident working autonomously and managing your own deliverables.

• Can occasionally work until 6pm UK time to accommodate US client briefs and meetings.

Contract Details

• Day Rate: £300 per day

• IR35: Outside IR35

• Location: Fully Remote (UK-based)

• Start Date: Early November 2026

• Duration: Initial 3 weeks, with potential to extend
