Your role will be essential in ensuring every patient's journey begins smoothly and safely. With a keen eye and a proactive approach, you will help monitor patients in the waiting area, identifying those who may require urgent attention and quickly alerting nursing staff when necessary.
Working confidently both independently and as part of a wider team, you will follow established departmental protocols while using your initiative to respond to the changing demands of the department. Strong communication skills are key, as you will be interacting with patients and their relatives at all times, including during periods of distress, offering reassurance and maintaining a calm, professional presence.
