London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust Data Quality Manager
The closing date is 29 September 2026
Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the continued development of a modern data and reporting environment across London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust and The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Data Quality Manager to lead improvements in the quality, consistency and reliability of information used throughout both organisations. You will help ensure that data is accurate, trusted and fit for purpose, supporting excellent patient care, operational performance and informed decision-making.
Working within a complex healthcare setting, you will collaborate with clinical, operational and corporate teams to identify data quality issues, develop improvement plans and strengthen data governance practices. You will provide expert advice, monitor data quality performance and promote best practice across the Trusts.
The successful candidate will be a highly organised and analytical professional with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You will be confident working with complex datasets, interpreting information and presenting findings in a clear and meaningful way to a range of audiences.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to broaden your expertise, influence positive change and make a measurable impact on the quality and value of information used across our organisations.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will lead initiatives within the Trust's Data Quality Programme, ensuring information recorded across clinical and business systems meets the standards required for patient care, performance management, statutory reporting and financial reimbursement. A key element of the role is promoting a culture where data quality is recognised as everyone's responsibility.
You will identify, analyse and resolve data quality issues across the organisation, developing effective controls, monitoring processes and reporting mechanisms to support continuous improvement. This includes producing regular data quality reports, undertaking root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventative actions to address recurring issues.
The role requires building strong working relationships with clinical, operational and corporate teams to understand how systems are used in practice, identify process weaknesses, and develop practical solutions that improve the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of data capture.
Working closely with Digital, Business Intelligence, Clinical Systems, Training and Information Governance teams, you will support the development and delivery of organisation-wide approaches that embed good data quality practices, improve data literacy and maximise the value of the Trust's information assets.
