Job summary
Here at St. Albans City Hospital (SACH) Theatres we are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic, and dynamic theatre practitioners to join our friendly, professional multi-disciplinary team. We offer rotational opportunities for staff in order for them to develop and/or maintain their skills.
We welcome both Registered Nurses and ODPs alike.
Applicants will need to possess good interpersonal skills in order to work effectively within the existing theatre teams whilst also having the ability to work under their own initiative.

Main duties of the job
Be responsible for the management and organisation of the operative list and clinical care.
Be responsible for the efficient communication of changes within the operating department to all members of the multidisciplinary theatre team.
Undertake the safe and efficient transfer of patients to other hospitals.
Demonstrate clear leadership qualities in order to perform day to day managerial tasks, including allocation of staff etc.
Theatres requires a quick thinker, fast responder who has good organisation skills.
We are looking for a team player who likes a challenge and can respond in an emergency situation.
