Job summary

Spire Alexandra is looking to recruit an experience Pharmacy Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. As Pharmacy Manager, you will provide both clinical and operational leadership, ensuring the safe, effective and compliant management of medicines across the hospital. Working closely with consultants, multidisciplinary teams and senior hospital leaders, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding patient care while supporting the continued development of the pharmacy service.

As Pharmacy Manager you will:

  • Lead, motivate and develop the pharmacy team, fostering a culture of clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Provide expert advice and support to consultants, clinicians and patients on the safe and effective use of medicines.
  • Ensure the safe management of medicines across the hospital, maintaining compliance with all relevant legislation, professional standards and governance requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
  • Drive service development initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance clinical quality, efficiency and patient outcomes.
  • Provide visible clinical leadership and contribute to the wider success of the hospital.

    We're looking for a clinically credible pharmacist with strong hospital pharmacy experience and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

    You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
