Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school, supporting children in Nursery or Reception and helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive.

About the role

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to support children's learning, development and wellbeing. You will help create an engaging, nurturing environment where children feel safe, confident and excited to learn.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Supporting children through play-based learning and structured activities.

* Helping pupils develop early literacy, phonics, numeracy and communication skills.

* Supporting personal, social and emotional development.

* Encouraging independence, confidence and positive relationships.

* Assisting with classroom routines, resources and the wider learning environment.

* Working alongside the class teacher to provide effective support for all pupils.

What we are looking for

* A Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent relevant qualification.

* Experience working with children in an early years or primary school setting.

* A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

* A genuine passion for supporting children's development.
