You will be required to support children across the EYFS setting by providing consistent one-to-one and small-group support to promote their learning, development and wellbeing. Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging activities linked to the EYFS framework, supporting early communication, language, phonics, literacy, numeracy and physical development. Encourage children to develop confidence, independence and positive relationships through play-based learning and structured activities. Provide additional support for children with SEN, EAL and emerging learning or behavioural needs, adapting activities and using appropriate strategies to help them participate fully.

What will you be doing as a EYFS Teaching Assistant?

• Working across Nursery & Reception, supporting children aged 3-4 years.
• Supporting Phonics, Early Reading, Writing and Maths activities.
• Supporting children through play-based learning and structured activities.
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support for children with SEN and EAL.
• Supporting children's communication, language and social development.

The school are looking for any of the following within the appointed EYFS Teaching Assistant…

• Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum - Ideally CACHE Level 2 or 3 qualified
• Bubbly and energetic personality
• Must be able to work in a large team

• £115 - £120 per day - term time only (Monday to Friday) - paid weekly
