Job summary
Humbleyard Practice's patient care team is made up of 15 friendly and dedicated patient care advisors, working across our Cringleford, Hethersett, and Mulbarton Surgeries. We are currently looking to recruit part- or full-time patient care advisors to join our team.
As a patient care advisor, you'll be at the heart of the practice, helping patients navigate their healthcare journey with confidence and ease. You'll be the first point of contact for patients, whether in person or over the phone, offering support, booking appointments, and signposting them to the right clinician or service at the right time.
Main duties of the job
No two days are the same. You'll be handling enquiries, updating records, and working closely with both clinical and administrative teams to keep everything running smoothly. The Humbleyard Practice is a large, semi-rural, dispensing healthcare provider, offering exceptional care with compassion, professionalism, and integrity. Serving a fast-growing patient population of over 22,500 across three sites, we are dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of our patients and their families.

- Cringleford Surgery, Cantley Lane, Cringleford, Norwich, NR4 6TA
- Hethersett Surgery, Great Melton Road, Hethersett, Norwich, NR9 3AB
- Mulbarton Surgery, The Common, Mulbarton, Norwich, NR14 8JG

We’re looking for a friendly, organised, and compassionate person to join our patient care team! If you love helping people, can stay calm under pressure, and have a knack for juggling multiple tasks at once, this could be the perfect role for you. Whether you’ve worked in customer service, healthcare, reception, or just have a passion for helping others, we’d love to hear from you. If you’re ready to be part of a fun, supportive, and dedicated team that makes a real difference every day, apply now! You'll need:
Essential
- education to GCSE or NVQ2 level, or equivalent
- great communication skills
- a team-player attitude
- the ability to make patients feel welcome and supported
- to be comfortable working with database systems
- confidence with IT systems (like Microsoft Office 365 and SystmOne) is a plus, but dont worrywell provide full training to get you up to speed!
- experience working in customer facing roles - is desirable
