Job summary
The Humbleyard Practice is looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic nursing associate, either experienced or newly-qualified, to support our clinical nursing team and improve our patient services within our practice. This role is offered on a either a full-time or part-time basis, for up to 37.5 hours per week. We are a flexible employer and are happy to discuss working hours and patterns to support a positive work-life balance.
Due to continued growth in our patient population, this is an exciting opportunity to work within a busy and progressive general practice, providing high-quality patient care and supporting a range of nursing services. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced practice nurses, GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver preventative care, health promotion initiatives and treatment room services.
Main duties of the job
- To support the organisation and facilitation of clinical care, in a holistic and proactive manner, to patients registered at the practice, as part of the general practice nursing team and under the guidance of a registered general nurse.
- To maintain a high professional standard of nursing care, in adherence to all practice protocols, policies and guidelines, as well as to provide nursing assistance to the GPs and other members of the primary healthcare team.
- To demonstrate flexibility, in line with the present atmosphere for change within the health service delivery.
- To work within your own level of competency, and expanding the role in accordance with practice requirements and own scope of practice.
