Job summary

If you are passionate about caring for the elderly and want to build a long-term career in one of our award-winning homes, then look no further than Akari Care. We now seek a Housekeeper who is passionate about, and thrives on, making a real and positive difference to the lives of older people. Through support, training, and coaching of your domestic and laundry teams, you will assume responsibility for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our residents rooms and in all communal areas. You will ensure that the correct staff resource is always available through accurate staff rostering, prioritising resident care at all times which actively promotes continual improvement of standards in all areas. This approach should reinforce the provision of a clean and healthy environment in which our residents are valued, respected, and retain their individualism and dignity.
