£95-£110 per day

SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded primary school in East Barnet, North London.

This is a full-time opportunity supporting a pupil with quite complex special educational needs, including Autism (ASC), who is non-verbal.

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, for the academic year.
• One-to-one support for a pupil starting in late September/early October.
• Support a child with complex SEND and Autism (ASC).
• Experience with PECS and Makaton would be highly desirable.
• Working hours: 8:15am-3:45pm.
• Daily rate: £95-£100, depending on experience.
• Potential for the role to become permanent after one year.

• Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs in a primary school.
• Knowledge or practical experience of PECS and Makaton is desirable.
• Patient, caring and adaptable, with a calm and positive approach.
• Strong communication skills and able to work effectively with school staff and external professionals.
• Able to maintain accurate records and provide consistent support.
