Year 4 Primary Teacher - Waltham Forest

We're looking for a committed Year 4 Primary Teacher to join a school in Waltham Forest following the October half term, starting on 2nd November 2026.

This long-term opportunity will run through to July 2027, giving you the stability of a full academic year while allowing you to become fully immersed in your class and the wider school community.

For the right teacher, there is also a permanent opportunity from September 2027.

The Classroom

You'll be expected to:

• Take responsibility for a Year 4 class
• Deliver engaging and well-paced lessons
• Plan learning that challenges and supports pupils
• Monitor progress and respond to individual needs
• Promote excellent behaviour and attitudes to learning
• Build positive relationships with pupils and families
• Work closely with colleagues and contribute to school life

We're Looking For

• QTS or recognised teaching qualification
• Primary teaching experience
• Confidence teaching Year 4
• Strong classroom management
• Good understanding of the National Curriculum
• Adaptable and enthusiastic approach
• Commitment to pupil progress
• ECTs are welcome
