Join a Major Business Transformation Programme

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-focused Finance Analyst to provide dedicated operational support during a significant product range transformation programme. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial and operational data as we transform an extensive product portfolio.

Working closely with Finance, Master Data Management (MDM), Operations, and Product Development teams, you will be responsible for validating product costings, reviewing Bills of Materials (BOMs), and ensuring robust governance processes are followed throughout the transformation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a someone who thrives on accuracy, process control, and working within a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, challenge and authorise Bills of Materials (BOMs) for both new and existing products to support product trials, launches, and change initiatives.
  • Validate product yields, labour standards, and cost assumptions to ensure accurate product costing.
  • Conduct detailed interrogation of recipe builds and master data structures to identify anomalies, discrepancies, and risks.
  • Work collaboratively with Operations, Product Development, Master Data Management, and Finance teams to ensure data integrity and alignment.
  • Ensure yields accurately reflect recipe submissions and labour mapping reflects current operational practices.
  • Support the delivery of a large-scale range transformation programme through accurate and timely financial validation.
  • Apply and promote data governance standards, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Escalate issues, risks, and inconsistencies promptly to support effective decision-making.
  • Manage workload effectively to deliver against challenging deadlines and agreed service level agreements.
  • Contribute to the development of standardised processes, validation controls, and approval frameworks to strengthen financial governance.

About You

You are an organised and disciplined finance professional with exceptional attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy. You enjoy investigating issues, challenging assumptions, and ensuring financial information can be relied upon to support business decisions.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience within a Costing Analyst, Commercial Finance, Operational Finance, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs), product costing, and data validation processes.
  • Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and data quality principles.
  • Highly analytical with strong investigative and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
  • Competent user of Excel.

Desirable

  • Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, retail, or supply chain environments.
  • Understanding of recipe-based costing models and yield management.
  • Experience supporting product launches, transformations, or range change programmes.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and financial control processes.
