Litigation Paralegal

Ryder Reid Legal is working with an elite US law firm to recruit a Litigation & Arbitration Paralegal to join its highly regarded London disputes team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright and ambitious paralegal looking to gain hands-on experience supporting lawyers on complex commercial litigation and international arbitration matters.

The role will include:

• Supporting with the preparation of trials, hearings and arbitration proceedings
• Conducting legal research into case law, statutes and precedents
• Assisting with legal documents, evidence and witness statements
• Supporting the disclosure process, including document review and production
• Preparing trial bundles, exhibits and witness materials
• Attending hearings and arbitration proceedings where required
• Managing case files, deadlines and documentation

The team would ideally like someone with previous litigation and/or arbitration paralegal experience, although strong candidates with less experience will also be considered.

You will ideally have a law degree and/or LPC/SQE, excellent academics, strong research and organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience of disclosure, e-discovery or international arbitration would be particularly useful.
