About this job

Fancy being part of a business that’s growing, evolving and making a difference?

We’re working with an ambitious, internationally operating business that’s going through an exciting period of growth. With innovation, continuous improvement and long-term sustainability at the heart of its strategy, this is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation where finance plays a key role in shaping what comes next.

This is a varied, hands-on role offering responsibility across group reporting, statutory accounts, treasury, tax and financial compliance. Working closely with the CFO and wider senior leadership team, you’ll help ensure strong financial governance while supporting the business through its next stage of development.

So, what’s involved?

  • You’ll take ownership of a broad group finance and compliance remit, including:
  • Leading monthly and annual group consolidations across multiple entities.
  • Preparing statutory accounts under IFRS and UK GAAP/FRS 101.
  • Managing group cashflow forecasting, liquidity and foreign exchange activities.
  • Overseeing corporation tax, R&D tax and wider compliance requirements.
  • Leading relationships with external auditors and professional advisers.
  • Strengthening financial controls, governance and reporting processes.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and board-level reporting.
  • Providing financial insight and commercial support to the CFO and senior leadership team.
  • Managing a Payroll Administrator and supporting wider finance operations.

What are we looking for?

We’re keen to speak with a technically strong finance professional who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes and working in a business where things are continually evolving.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP and FRS 101.
  • Proven experience preparing group consolidations and statutory accounts.
  • A solid background in treasury, tax compliance and financial controls.
  • Experience managing external audit relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills and the confidence to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to adapt in a changing environment.

This is a business that values people who challenge the norm, take ownership and look for better ways of working.

Collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement are important, as is having the confidence to bring ideas to the table and make a genuine contribution.
