• Start: ASAP bookings, subject to registration and safeguarding checks
• Setting: Secondary schools, Key Stages 3 and 4
• Contract: Flexible day-to-day and short-term subject cover

Subject Teaching on Supply

• A Secondary Supply Teacher will deliver school-provided lesson materials in suitable subject areas and explain learning objectives clearly.
• The Secondary Supply Teacher will manage secondary-age behaviour and transitions in line with each school's policies.
• As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will check understanding and adapt support for pupils with different learning needs.
• A successful Secondary Supply Teacher will communicate with departments and provide clear feedback on work completed.
• Maintain safeguarding and attendance procedures, with longer-term planning expectations discussed separately.

What We're Looking For in a Secondary Supply Teacher

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for a Secondary Supply Teacher.
• Recent KS3 or KS4 teaching experience and secure subject knowledge.
• Confidence with adolescent engagement, behaviour and classroom routines.
