A leading Chinese bank is seeking a Junior Financial Crime Operations Officer to join its London team on a 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to develop their career within Financial Crime, AML, KYC, and Compliance Operations while gaining exposure to a highly regulated banking environment.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' work experience in the UK
• Degree educated
• Previous experience within financial services, banking, or financial crime operations
• Knowledge of AML, KYC, Sanctions Screening, Transaction Monitoring, and Client Due Diligence processes
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Support financial crime and compliance-related operational activities
• Conduct KYC reviews and client due diligence checks
• Assist with AML and sanctions screening processes
• Review and investigate alerts, escalating potential concerns where appropriate
• Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
• Work closely with Compliance, Operations, and other internal stakeholders
