Remedy Education is currently recruiting for a confident, enthusiastic and experienced Maths Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school based in Wandsworth, South West London.

The school is looking for a passionate teacher who can deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students of varying abilities and helping them build confidence in their mathematical understanding.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Maths Teacher looking for a long-term position within a supportive school environment.

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Adapt teaching methods to support students of different abilities and learning needs.

• Prepare students for GCSE examinations, helping them develop strong mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.

• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement and academic achievement.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation.

• Work closely with the Maths department and wider teaching staff to support student development.

• Contribute to lesson planning, assessments and departmental activities.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

• Previous experience teaching Maths within a secondary school.

• Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4.

• Confident delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.

• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.

• Ability to support students with varying academic abilities and additional learning needs.

• Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
