Description

• Maintain accurate accounting records to support reliable day-to-day financial information.
• Process financial transactions promptly and ensure records are kept up to date.
• Prepare and organise finance documents for use within the Accounting & Finance department.
• Reconcile financial information and investigate any differences to maintain accuracy.
• Monitor finance data and resolve routine queries in a timely manner.
• Support the preparation of regular financial information for internal use.
• Keep clear records of completed work to ensure information is easy to review.

Profile

A successful Senior Finance Officer should have:

• Experience completing day-to-day accounting tasks accurately.
• Confidence handling financial records and transaction data.
• Ability to reconcile information and identify discrepancies.
• Good working knowledge of finance administration and document control.
• Strong attention to detail when working with figures and records.
• Ability to organise workload and complete tasks to agreed deadlines.

Job Offer

• Fixed-term contract for 12 months
• Salary of £30,000 to £32,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Based in Lewes.
