About this job
BigQuery Data Engineer
Market Day Rate - Inside IR35 via Umbrella
Location: 1 day per week in London (Candidates must be UK based and state their location)
Duration: 4 - 6 months
Role -
- Linear exposure data: BigQuery pipelines on Google Cloud that turn set-top-box viewing feeds into exposure tables, including one that's half built and needs finishing.
- Privacy-safe joins between that exposure data and pertness outcome data (card spending, web visits), in BigQuery and Snowflake clean rooms.
- Working directly with partners' data teams.
Experience -
- Solid hands-on data engineering: Python, SQL, BigQuery and GCP pipelines.
- Snowflake and clean rooms or other privacy-safe joins would be a real plus.
- AI-oriented. They'll work day to day with coding agents (Claude Code and similar) and should want to, not just tolerate it.
- Interested in the data itself, not just moving it from A to B.
