HR Specialist

HR Advisor with experience in Reward.

6-Month Fixed-Term Contract - Hybrid - 1 Day per week in York.

Are you an HR professional with a passion for reward, data and continuous improvement? We're looking for an HR Specialist to join our People & Culture team on a six-month fixed-term basis to support the delivery of key reward activities and help embed transformational people processes across the organisation.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of reward and benefits initiatives while supporting the embedding of a new HR system. You'll work closely with colleagues across People & Culture and the wider business, providing reward expertise, data analysis and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the embedding of a new HR system into day-to-day compensation and benefits processes.
• Assist with the implementation of annual pay reviews and salary increases, including data modelling, analysis and reporting.
• Coordinate and support annual reward processes, ensuring activities are delivered accurately and to agreed deadlines.
• Provide guidance and support on job evaluation and pay benchmarking activities.
• Manage day-to-day employee benefits administration, responding to escalated queries and supporting ongoing system improvements.
• Deliver reward analysis and insight to support informed business decision-making.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience within HR with an interest in Reward, Compensation & Benefits.
• Is highly analytical and enjoys working with data and systems.
• Has strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills.
• Can confidently build relationships and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Has a keen eye for detail and a passion for improving processes and ways of working.
