3rd Line Support Engineer - Day-rate Outside IR35

NHS Experience Required

Immediate Start - 3 month contract with extensions

Provide 3rd Line Support for the ICT Service across infrastructure components including Servers, Storage, Application Deployment, Data Centre systems, Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud Services, and Enterprise Mobility Management (e.g., Intune, MDM).

Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure-related incidents involving services such as Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Group Policy, and cloud-integrated systems

Monitor, respond to, and remediate infrastructure faults, outages, and performance issues across on-premise and cloud-based platforms.

Remote patches and Software deployments on Servers and Endpoints using PDQ\Intune

Maintain up-to-date infrastructure documentation, network/server diagrams and other infrastructure components.

Liaise with the ICT Service Desk to resolve infrastructure outages. Create and maintain comprehensive user and technical documentation for core systems including server infrastructure, Intune profiles, MDM policies, and cloud configurations.

Essential Skills and Experience

Proven experience in Level 3 support for enterprise infrastructure, including servers, storage, and core applications.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and IIS.

Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments.

Experience in managing and supporting Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.

Experience with virtualisation platforms such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft
