Assistant Management Accountant

HW Finance are supporting a UK subsidiary of a larger group in their search for an Assistant Management Accountant on a 12 month fixed term basis.

The business operate within retail and distribution, with a small Finance team based in Leeds.

Covering a period of maternity leave, responsibilities will include:

• Assist with month-end close tasks and preparation of monthly management accounts
• Support cash management activities and maintain oversight of cash positions
• Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis
• Prepare and submit VAT returns
• Support external reporting requirements
• Provide general finance administration support in the UK
• Ad hoc projects around process improvement and financial analysis for the Finance Director

The role is primarily based on site (2-3 days a week) and reports directly into the Finance Director.

It’s a great role for someone part qualified, looking to build on their management accounts experience working in a small team with lots of exposure to the wider business.
