About this job

Your new company

We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to deliver a portfolio of Microsoft and infrastructure transformation projects within an NHS trust. This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex technical change, working closely with architects, engineers, operational teams and suppliers.

Your new role

The NHS trust has merged with 2 other trusts, so the 4 projects you will oversee are the consolidation of technology across the trusts. You'll combine strong delivery leadership with the technical understanding to challenge assumptions, manage dependencies and keep multiple workstreams moving.
Your initial portfolio will include:

  • Active Directory consolidation and Entra ID identity transformation.
  • Microsoft Intune consolidation and endpoint management transition.
  • Microsoft 365 service and tenant consolidation.
  • Large-scale migration from legacy file shares to SharePoint Online.
  • Transition from outsourced managed services to internally managed support.
  • Wider infrastructure and cloud transformation initiatives.

You'll own delivery from initiation through to completion, maintaining clear plans, governance and reporting. You'll hold teams and suppliers accountable for milestones, proactively resolve risks and blockers, and ensure services are ready to transition into business-as-usual support.

What you'll need to succeed

You'll bring a proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure, cloud or Microsoft transformation projects, alongside a strong understanding of Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune and Microsoft 365.
You'll also have:

  • Experience delivering migration, consolidation and service transition programmes.
  • Confidence managing third-party suppliers and internal technical teams.
  • Strong planning, governance, risk and dependency management skills.
  • Experience leading multiple concurrent technical workstreams.
  • The ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge constructively.

Crucially, you'll be someone who takes ownership of outcomes-not simply tracking actions, but understanding delivery challenges and driving them through to resolution.

What you'll get in return
£350 - 390 per day
Hybrid working

You'll have the opportunity to lead a varied technical transformation portfolio in a complex healthcare setting. With exposure to identity, endpoint management, Microsoft 365, cloud and service transition, this role offers scope to make a tangible impact on how technology services are delivered and supported.
