This patient-facing role is integral to supporting the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of patients by delivering a safe, efficient and high-quality blood collection service.

Working closely with our GPs, nursing team and clinical pharmacists, you will provide the foundations for chronic conditions care and will benefit from a supportive working environment, opportunities for ongoing professional development and the chance to make a meaningful difference to patient outcomes every day.

You will deliver a professional phlebotomy service by obtaining patient consent, performing venepuncture safely and adhering to clinical protocols while providing an excellent patient experience. You will work independently in your own treatment room, managing a steady stream of pre-booked patient appointments, with some on the day more urgent slots. Clinics are fast paced with 5 minute appointments.

Spotless Accuracy. You will perform strict identification checks, label blood tubes, and update patient records on our computer system without errors.

Work collaboratively with clinicians and practice colleagues to support service delivery, contribute to audits and continuous improvement initiatives, and promote high standards of patient care.
