Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust Community Mental Health Nurse
The closing date is 11 November 2026
Job summary
The Coventry Community Mental Health Team is a transforming team delivering person-centred mental health support to the people of Coventry. We are currently embarking on a change of base, currently based at Swanswell Point but soon to be dispersing into North, West and East neighborhood teams. This will enable us to deliver a higher standard of care to the communities we serve.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced band 6 clinician who would be confident in managing a caseload of patients with complex mental health needs. You will be supported to develop your skills and provide a range of clinical interventions that will benefit patients and families.
Main duties of the job
Working within an established team, you'll be managing a caseload of clients who have complex mental health problems both with a psychotic illness and non-psychosis presentations and delivering a range of interventions and treatment across the whole patient group. As a successful candidate you will be given time and opportunity to build your skills and confidence to eventually allow you to undertake the role of management of a caseload. Those patients with a psychotic presentation may be managed through shared care within the team. This allows the sharing of responsibility, skills and knowledge which offers the opportunity for staff to develop their role whilst being supported by colleagues.
You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, using evidence-based approaches and time limited interventions. You'll be communicating with a wide variety of clients; professionals; partners and agencies.
