Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust Staff Nurse
The closing date is 15 November 2026
Job summary
We are looking for 2 dynamic Nurses to join our team of committed staff and to help our patients regain their independence and prepare them for a safe discharge. We have a variety of hours available and are able to provide part time and family flexible working. As we are a smaller community hospital we have our own challenges in managing patients away from the resources found in bigger hospital, so the successful candidate needs to be proficient in IT and be innovative in their approach. The benefits of the smaller hospital however being a more family feel, a less frenetic environment , great access to the site and easier parking!
We aim to support patients with long-term health conditions such as Stroke, Parkinson's, Asthma, COPD, Heart failure, Dementia and those patients stepping down from extended ICU stays etc in a different way, away from the 'busyness' of the trust's acute wards.
We provide high quality Palliative Care for patients in this region as we have no local hospice. The ICB is committed to providing dedicated space for these patients and their families and we hope to continue developing this service much more in the coming months, with a new palliative care visitors suite.
Do you want to work in a smaller hospital with great Parking and easy Access to York, Doncaster, Leeds, Hull and Scunthorpe? If the answer is yes then Ward 3 at Goole is the ideal place for you!
Main duties of the job
